Talk about an epic song for 2019!

About the song:
‘I Carry the Fire’ is the new single from Wettworker’s upcoming album The Legend of the Thugeater.
Musically speaking, it appears as an incredible incursion within different genres, irrefutably displaying Wettworker’s mastering of different sounds.
Through a music crescendo that arises from a Pink Floydish atmosphere and falls drastically into an 80s-inspired Beastie Boys world, with sporadic intrusion into the best hardcore rhythms, it might appear as a daring experimentation.
While this could be somehow true, it doesn’t exhaust the inner complexity and depth of this “almost-16-minute-long” piece.
The song literally breaks its formula closer to the 8th minute, mutating firstly into some kind of ballad and then into a beautiful and intense rock segment led by the voice and the guitar of Christine Flynn, to whom the entire song is dedicated.
‘I Carry the Fire’ is a tough parabola through different stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
A tribute track to celebrate the life of a great singer and guitar player, a narration about suicide, and the physical and emotional void that it left.
We get lost in a sort of cathartic rage; a liberating vortex that will leave us heartily exhausted and bodily free.
This is Wettworker at his most raw and vulnerable, and it is a tribute to one of his biggest inspirations and best friends. Truly, a heartfelt track that’s putting everything out there.
Have a listen to the song.
