    Friendly Rich & The Lollipop People to Perform at Ottawa Bluesfest!

    On Saturday July 18th, Friendly Rich and his great depression band, The Lollipop People will perform live in Ottawa at the Barney Danson Theatre.

    After an extensive tour of Europe this spring, Friendly Rich is excited to perform his first concert in the nation’s capital!

    “I love Ottawa, and it’s an honour to play on the Electric Eclectics stage at Bluesfest” explains Rich, “as I hold Gordon Monohan [Electrics Eclectics founder] in the highest regard as one of our national treasures”.

    Friendly Rich and the Lollipop People are:

    Friendly Rich – voices / clarinet / guitar / cracklebox
    Tom Juhas – guitar / accordion
    Jeremy Strachan – saxophone / bass clarinet
    Jeff Burke – bassoon
    Sly Juhas – drums
    Gregory Oh – keyboard / toy piano / melodica

    This concert will feature tunes from Friendly’s latest CD Dinosaur Power, as well as selections from their upcoming CD Pictures at an Exhibition, and more…Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness this unique live show.
