Today Scattered Clouds dropped the music video for Morning After, Pt. 1 from their latest album “Take Away Your Summer.
This instrumental track was inspired by the dystopian atmosphere of 1980’s sci-fi soundtracks such as The Terminator and Escape From NY and uses a slew of old analog synths to create the leading empirical melodic theme, an organic bass motif, and hand sequenced arpeggios.
It was produced by Montreal experimental filmmaker Charles-André Coderre from Jerusalem in my Heart (Constellation Records).
In his own words: “This music video is a spontaneous creation made with my friend filmmaker Guillaume Vallée and dancer choreographer Kim Sanh Chau. It was created live with analog video camera & 16mm film projector.”
