Montreal musician Pallice dropped the single Aesthetic.
It is taken from the Aesthetic EP which is due on So Sorry Records in summer 2018.
Nice light airy fluffy pop tune!

Reminder that Pallice will be playing Ottawa at Pressed on April 29, 2018.

Pallice is the main project of Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist Morgan O’Leary (Napster Vertigo, ex-New Royalty). O’Leary’s songwriting explores themes across the entire spectrum of the meaningful to the mundane, each track standing as a short, concise portrait of the peculiar thoughts and stories that define our lives. Her narrative seems to simultaneously ask “what does it all mean?” and answer with a definitive “it doesn’t matter, let’s get on with it”.

Pallice’s sound is characterized by driving synth-lines with roots in American minimalism stewed in a unique pop vigour, expanded by textural, jittery yet precise guitar work from Wesley MacNeil. Mellow-rnb-meets-dance-pop bass playing of Stokely Diamantis and low-key yet expressive patterns from drummer Jeff Kingsbury round out the rhythm section. The band’s debut EP, recorded and mixed by Andrew Woods (Basia Bulat, Napster Vertigo) in Montreal, will be released by So Sorry Records in 2018.
