Alot of albums are dropping on September 8, 2017.
This is one album I am so excited for.
The long awaited second album by https://alvvays.bandcamp.comAlvvays called Antisocialites.
It’s been three years when the band released their self-titled debut album and waiting for something new.
The wait is over and on Antisocialites with 10 tracks of upbeat and catchy melodies with the unique songwriting of Molly Rankin.
There are the upbeat energetic tracks of Plimsoll Punks, Lollipop Ode To Jim and Saved By A Waif.
To mellow track Dreams Tonite which makes you want down the streets while waiting for the bus at night.
For a Canadian band, this album is very reminiscent to (I can think of the top of my head) Cocteau Twins, The Breeders, The Cure and Camera Obsura.
Meaning it sounds so British fuzz jangle pop!
While it will be one of my top picks for “Best of 2017” albums so far.
- In Undertow
- Dreams Tonite
- Plimsoll Punks
- Lollipop Ode To Jim
- Forget About Life
I’d give Antisocialites:
