Next best thing for indie pop music?
LANIKAI, the new music project from ex-Imaginary Cities front woman, Marti Sarbit pulls together lush, sparkling alt-pop vibes and a swaggering ‘60s soul groove. With one foot in the past and one in the present — Lanikai delivers beautiful and poignant pop music.

The self-titled debut album is set for a November 18 release via Hidden Pony Records. Lanikai features Sarbit penned tunes, played with a number of close musical confidantes. It also features the production handy work and accompaniment from her musical partner in Imaginary Cities, Rusty Matyas on a few of the album cuts.
